I just want you to
paraphrase all my notes and make it more professional and please don’t put any
information from outside just from what I wrote to you

Class Notes:
24th of September
In the last week
of September, we figure out we need information for the project. It was
necessary to get that from client to ensure accuracy. It was mandatory for our
project. We went to the professor and informed him about that. He arranged a
call between us & the client during his presence. We asked the required
question which the respectable client answered in a great way. During the call,
we ask if there is possibility to visit the place & he agreed to it.
26th of September
On the second day of our call, the
meeting was scheduled. We did a small meeting to arrange the required answers.
We went to visit the facility on 26th of September. It was
illuminating to see 300 ton machines working. Not only is that, we saw 950 ton
machines and learn about their mechanism of working. There was a changeover of
950 ton machine that caught our attention. The next site we visited on that day
was Vandalia with a great time with Jimmy, Grag & Andy (technicians).
1st of October
We had a group presentation on this
day. We prepared our material for the presentation. Most of the insight we get
from Grad, Andy and Jimmy helped us prepare. We decided the parts of
presentation to be delivered. We also decided who will present what part. We
tried our best to look professional in that presentation. We shared the
information we gathered as well our plan to move forward.
2nd of October
On the second day of October, we
went back to Vandalia. We figured we need more information to move forward.
Also, we were helped a great deal by directly talking to the people responsible
for work. The next stage of our project needs more information. During the
visit, we saw the changeovers of 300 & 900 ton machines. These changeovers
have a great role to play in running the machines successfully. We made some
videos to further help us with the information.
3rd of October
One thing that we missed during our
last visit was the way to hold information longer. We had notes that we took.
Our questions were answered that we tried to recall. However, there was lack of
consensus between us as to what happen. So in order to further improve our
knowledge we went back. We saw the machines but also made the video of their
process. We also gained more knowledge about their changeovers.
8th of October
The videos we made during the
visit, we reviewed them. It was necessary to go through every process back and
forth several times. The repetition helped us get a clear picture of how things
work. The videos content helped us remind a great deal of the meeting. We never
made a video before and this time we agreed to have one. Every one of us took
notes from the video. Then we correlated all of them to improve.
15th of October
We hold the process on our project
for a time. It was meant to let everyone comes up with further ideas as to how
we can still do better. On 15th of October, we had a meeting with
each other. We prepared the design review with the help of our advisor.
Knowledge from Grad and Andy helped us even more. The videos we saw, the notes
we took managed to come up with the ideas about the design. We setup our work
for the power point.
17th of October
Once we setup the basic ideas, it
was time to put that to action. We divided the tasks with each other to ensure
efficiency. We have to prepare the presentation on 15th and 16th
of October so we can present that on 17th of October. We presented
our work to Professor Blust as well as the clients. There were few
recommendation from both of them. It was mandatory to have their insight about
it. That insight helped us steer the project in the right direction. We decided
to have another visit to the place.
18th of October
On that day, we went to Vandalia
facility. The aim was to view the other process of the machines i.e. the
shutdown. Engineering processes are comprehensive. One process without the
other seldom completes the procedure. We visit the second shut down of 300 ton
& 900 ton machines. However, it wasn’t scheduled on that day. There was
nothing we can do but to come again. We rescheduled it to 20th of
October.
20th of October
On 20th, we went back to
visit the shit down. However, we say the second start-up of 3-300 and 2-900 ton
machines. The process was long and required a great deal of patience. It was
our longest visit ever. We utilized it with having more talks about the whole place.
We stayed till midnight and recorded the whole process to use it in further
presentations. It was a tiring but knowledgeable day.
24th of October
The videos that we made on our last
two visits were important. We knew we have to re-watch them to extract better
knowledge. Recalling the visit was hard since it was a long day. The
concentration declined with passing time. However, the video covers the missing
knowledge. We took notes from the videos. We saw how the shut-down and startup
occurred.
