capacity of an individual that grants him the ability to gain control or access
in the course of handling of bonds around them is perceived as the emotional
intelligence of the individual. The course of management that is associated
with one’s being and awareness about the relationships and bonds is also
inclusive in emotional intelligence. The ability that an individual has in the
execution of management related to personal emotions and those related to the
emotions of other individuals is the basis for intelligence related to
emotions. The ability to understand the surroundings and behave accordingly is
the basic foundation of emotional intelligence (Peter & Honea, 2017) .
The
character that I would like to analyze here is that of zak’s mother, who is a
catholic school girl who belongs from Pittsburgh. The lady had converted to
Islam and had laid the foundations of protection for their family in times of
hardship. After the experiencing of the world trade center bombing incident the
lady took the call and tried to save their family. I choose this character because
there was an essential course of action that had prevailed in the onset of
activities following her stand. The lady divorced the man Nosair and got
married to another man.
The
book is an amazing depiction of the development of the characters in the context
of emotional intelligence. The essential aspects associated with the self
awareness and management of one’s own being along with the changes in the
environment is elaborated in the book. The unfolding of events leads both Zak
and his mother to take the essential stands for survival, and these details are
amazingly depicted and portrayed in the book. The move for the practice of
safety in the depiction related to the safety of the characters involved in the
intriguing aspect of the book (Ebrahim, 2014) .
